her hair has form ball of fur and I tryed to cut with clippers with fair luck how can I do the under belly with out hurting her to cut it short because she is hot for summer months

You're best to get a professional to do that. You could cut the pup or give her clipper burn.

I've never heard of this breed of dog unless you mean ShihTzu. Bring the dog to the groomers to have this done. this way she will be cooler and she will look beautiful too.
