i was trimming my kitty's hair, and since the clipper was awol i used a pair of sharp scissors. I ended up cutting a tiny bit of flesh along with the fur, but i refuse to go to the ER and explain what happened. How do i stop the bleeding? It's bleeding quite profusely.

OH! Wash the cut with soap and water very good and then put super glue on your cut. Honest it work to close the skin and keep it closed.

Next time get a wax - it isn't as dangerous.

Use a styptic pencil.

Pressure is key....you need to be little more careful with your kitty!! That just makes me cringe just thinking about it!! Actually, if you have a tea bag, that will help. Apply pressure with the tea bag and it will stop!! Good luck!!

oh man. ouch! wash it out, make sure its nice and clean. if you have any medical tape, make some butterflies, and put those on the cut to keep the flesh closed. get some gauze, and apply direct pressure til it stops bleeding. then put a bandaid on top of the butterflies, in case it opens up a little bit. take it easy, and be careful next time!

OUCH!!! I feel sorry for the cat......I take that poor little thing to the vet. If I were the vet I call the Humane Society. Shame on you!
