i do and my gf thinks its very strange. i just dont think it looks very nice to have a hairy butt crack or be overly hairy period. to me its just a simple matter of hygiene, im not a monkey or something im a human being who understands hygiene. i keep armpit hair short too and same with leg hair, i dont shave it off but i use clippers with a guard on them so it stays thinned out and short. i go over all this about once a week. is this really weird and "gay"

I don't think it really matters if it is "proper." It is your body, and you can do anything you want. Your gf should be happy you are clean and neat. A lot of guys have really poor hygiene and expect their gf's/wives not to care or notice. I say keep up the good work.

What's proper isn't what's deemed 'normal' for society, it's what YOU feel is good, so just do what you want with your own body and don't let other people tell you otherwise.
For all those people out there who call certain things 'gay', to be gay is to be sexually attracted to the same sex, and has no relation to how a person looks or acts.
If you call other people gay you might as well take a good look at yourself, as you most likely have a severe conservative/traditionalist opinion of appearance that is outdated and stupid.

I do not think it is at all weird. I shave my chest, shoulders and other areas. That certainly does not make me homosexual. I am a healthy heterosexual who prefers women clean-shaven down there, and I know many women prefer me shaven, clean and tidy.

OK, so what is "proper"? The fact that you are hairy or smooth naturally or whether you wax or shave body hair or whether you don't is no indication of your sexuality or your gender identification.
I personally prefer not to be as hairy as I naturally am so I get fully body waxings (including under arms and "bikini" line) at a salon as often as I can afford and keep my intimate areas trimmed or totally shaved.
The bonus is that sex is more sensuous.
Do whatever you want to do regarding your body hair for yourself rather than enyone else and if your girlfriend loves you, she'll accept it and learn to love your smoother look or at least live with it.

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with you. If you're born hairy then you're simply hairy. Some are born pretty hairless. It seems like you've got your mind twisted by the pornification of the world (where bald has been normalised). If you chose to shave then fine but there is no right or wrong. Just out of interest how often do you see your own ass crack??
Also your comments on hygiene aren't strictly correct. The hairs on your armpits are there to protect your glands from infection.
Men that shave their legs tend to be cyclists because hairy legs and crashes don't mix well. It's maybe strange that you're willing to spend the amount of time that you do fighting nature every week but if it's what you want, go for it! Just don't go judging others that might not bother shaving their body hair.
