Guys carrying as much as women?

Somebody asked if men should be able to carry handbags. I heard a lot of comments on "guys don閳ユ獩 need to carry nearly as much as women". I agree we don閳ユ獩 need to carry as much, but I have a "man bag" and I have a lot of things I like to have with me. Plus a wallet is bad on the back.

Non-scented lotion

Money

Cards

Business cards

Something for my hair (just in case)

Clippers

Odds and ends

Just want to hear your comments on this topic. Do you think men should be allowed to carry a "man bag"? What else should a guy carry with him? Anything else you can think of?

Guys carrying as much as women?

yeah, of course they can, satchels, briefcases and backpacks are fine. but if you carry it with your hand or on one shoulder like this http://bluefishviews.com/wp-content/uplo... it looks quite effeminate. if you dont mind, good for you, carry on, but people will probably assume your gay/camp.

Guys carrying as much as women?

um. no. that is a total gay thing to do. no offense.. but last time i saw a man with a manbag, the guy was wearing lipstick and high heels. enough said.

I agree that yoiu should have a small bag with these, and any other items you need for a weekend trip, but for everyday activities, I see no use to carry all this stuff around.

I don't know just who you think needs to give permission on anything? If a man wants to carry a purse or "man bag", he doesn't need permission from anyone, just carry it!!

See what your doing there in terms of what your carrying is already more feminine that the average male so that's why your leaning towards carrying a handbag like a woman. Also how is a wallet bad for the back, it's tiny I just carry mine in my front pocket. Money, cards, business cards all go into your wallet. You really shouldn't need to carry lotion, clippers, or something for hair because your going into "just in case" situations which sounds like you want to go in for "touch ups." Basically what your doing with the lotion and especially with the hair styling products is like when a women reapplies makeup.

If you want to carry a "man bag" go for it, personally I would find it a burden to be laden down with all those products. All I ever need would be my wallet, my cell phone, and my car keys.

I hate that it's called a "man-bag" just so guys don't feel insecure. Mine's just a "bag", not a girl bag, a chick bag....just a friggin bag. Glad to hear you're carrying useful things in it, and not you're beer and lesbian porn.

I love bags, everyone should have them. Especially for groceries, down with plastic!

Sure you can carry one, but it is way girly.

If a man is comfortable using a bag for carrying his personal things, then by all means go for it. There are woman out there who do not carry any kind of handbag, they use fanny packs, it still serves the purpose of having a place for there personal items. But with our society being what it is you may need to be prepared for the off handed comments %26amp; looks that are given to men who carry a manbag. If you want something that is a little more unassuming, find yourself a smaller briefcase that has pockets inside for the smalller things but yet you could put your lotions %26amp; even a clean t shirt in it %26amp; not be noticed as much.
