is it getting more popular to use clippers on ladies hair? what do u think when a lady asks you for such a thing, and do you try to convince her not to do it?

You obviously missed the 70s, when skinheads were about! Feather cuts were grown-out skinheads. Then in the 80s women liked the short hair with length on top, many of which were clippered at the back.Then in the 90s indie girls liked an undercut - i.e. leave it really long on top so it hides the shaved bits until you put it up...
You've either lived a very sheltered life or have just crawled out of a rock or something... 30 years is a long time to 'just' start doing something...
It's not your job to talk them out of it. Your job is to shut up and cut. What does it matter to you what hair cut a woman wants? If you've got a problem with somen having clippered hair, then you're a sexist pig and you ought to be ashamed. it's the 2000s, not the 1800s!
